  During his time working in the aviation industry Robert studied Psychology and later Psychotherapy. He returned to full-time education in 2010 earning a M.A. in Sexuality Studies and a M.Sc. in Psychotherapy from Dublin City University (DCU). Robert has worked in the DCU Student Counselling & Personal Development Service as well as community based services such as the suicide charity SOSAD. His areas of interest include depression, suicide, trauma, loss grief & bereavement, sexuality issues, student issues, addiction and life skills/life coaching.

Robert is an accredited EMDR [Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing] Practitioner and is trained in the use of Elan Shapiro's RTEP and GTEP protocols.

Robert is a fully accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (I.A.C.P) and works in accordance with their code of ethics.
