Marian has a strong working background in the Third Level Education sector and has worked in the Student Counselling Services. More recently, Marian has worked for a number of years in Community Based Mental Health and Addiction Services. Marian’s work focussed on facilitating change for individuals and family members who were impacted by problematic substance use, relationship issues, trauma and chronic stress to name a few. Her areas of interest include trauma, stress, burnout, depression, relationship issues and student issues.
Marian has an integrative, holistic and client centred approach using a range of evidenced based approaches, depending on the individual need.
Marian is a Certified EMDR [Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing] Practitioner.
Marian is a fully accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (I.A.C.P) and works in accordance with their code of ethics.

Marian is available in Malahide on Wednesday mornings & Fridays [all day].
