Barbara is a Registered Nurse who specialised in Oncology care for many years before joining a multinational biotechnology company as a research associate and achieving International Project Manager status before leaving the corporate world. Having lived abroad for many years she and her husband came back to Ireland to raise their son. In this time she returned to college and graduated in Psychotherapy with First Class Honours. She followed this with a further two years of study in Adolescent Psychotherapy and graduated with a Higher Diploma.

Barbara is passionate about her work. She has worked in private practice over the last ten years and prior to that worked with Pieta House in Dublin and SOSAD in Drogheda. Barbara is experienced in working with adults, adolescents and parents across a wide range of issues. Her areas of interest include anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, low self esteem, grief & bereavement, carers support, sexuality issues and all issues affecting adolescents including their development and coping skills. Barbara actively works with a wide range of local, medical and counselling professionals. Her warm, empathic approach provides a safe and supportive environment so that clients can explore issues that may be affecting their overall well-being and happiness.

Barbara is Available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1pm.

Adults & Adolescents 16yrs +

Rate: €80 per session per session.
