Barbara is a qualified nurse (Registered General Nurse) who specialised in Oncology care for many years before working for 12 years as an International Project Manager in the Biotechnology sector. While raising her son she returned to college and graduated as a Psychotherapist. She followed this with a further two years of study in Adolescent Psychotherapy.
Over the last eight years Barbara has worked with Pieta House in Dublin, SOSAD in Drogheda and in Private Practice in North County Dublin. Barbara is experienced in working with adults, adolescents and parents across a wide range of issues. Her areas of interest include depression, suicide, low self esteem, anxiety, grief & bereavement, carers support, sexuality issues and all issues affecting adolescents their development and coping skills. Barbara actively works with a wide range of local, medical and counselling professionals. Her warm, empathic approach provides a safe and supportive environment so that clients can explore issues that may be affecting their overall well-being and happiness.
Barbara is Available on Wednesday and Thursday from 2pm onwards.
