Over the past fifteen years Anne worked in various areas of social care; physical and intellectual disabilities, learning difficulties and autism, supporting individuals and their families with issues such as healthcare, well-being, communication issues, employment, further education, housing and bereavement. Since 2015 Anne has worked in art psychotherapy with mental health issues; depression, dementia, anxiety and bereavement. Having previously worked in RTE s Costume Department for fifteen years, Anne developed a love of creativity and through her work in training and development in the disability sector, she developed an interest in art therapy to support personal development. Anne combines the use of art materials or imagery to support her integrative counselling approach to facilitate insight and assist in the processing of emotions when words fail.
Anne is available in Malahide on Saturdays 10am to 3 pm or by request on Monday 1pm to 6pm
