Anne has worked in various areas of social care; physical and intellectual disabilities, learning difficulties and autism, supporting individuals and their families with issues such as healthcare, well-being, communication issues, employment, further education, housing and bereavement. A fully accredited member of IACP, Anne, at times, combines an integrative counselling approach with the use of art materials or imagery to assist her clients to process emotions when words fail.
Since 2015 Anne has worked in art psychotherapy with mental health issues; depression, dementia, anxiety and bereavement. Having previously worked in RTE s Costume Department for fifteen years, Anne developed a love of creativity and through her work in training and development in the disability sector, she developed an interest in art therapy to support personal development.
Anne is available in Malahide on Friday (2:30pm to 8pm) and Saturdays (10am to 3 pm)
Rate €60 per session [negotiable]
